The Hawthorn University 2012 Webinar Series has concluded. I hope you enjoyed and learned a lot from this terrific series. We had so many excellent presenters delivering amazing information. Participants had the advantage of not having to travel to hear high caliber health professionals present current science based information relevant to nutrition professionals.
A big thank you to Professor Heidi Snyder who moderated the webinars for us in 2012 and did a fantastic job facilitating presenters and participants, and to James Bernardinelli who is behind the scene taking care of the technical details and making things run smoothly. Most especially we want to thank everyone who attended the webinars, for your feedback and for wanting to "Learn More at Hawthorn!"
The 2012 Hawthorn Webinars are archived on the Hawthorn website and posted to Hawthorn's You-Tube page. They are a treasure of resources for students to use to research course assignments and for working with clients and are available to listen to anytime.
We're going to be featuring more Hawthorn students, graduates and instructors in 2013. If you want to be informed about upcoming Webinars please join our mailing list. I look forward to hearing the excellent work of Hawthorn's faculty members, their varied expertise and teaching styles and to becoming more aware of the important work being done by Hawthorn graduates and students.
In 2013 we plan to continue to offer Webinars on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 4 to 5 pm Pacific time. Our first webinar will be on January 15, 2013 featuring Liz Lipski, PhD, on the topic of Traditional Foods. I invite you to join me and the Hawthorn community and participate in what promises to be a fantastic year for the 2013 Hawthorn webinar series.
