Nishanga integrates the traditional wisdom of Chinese medicine with modern research to inspire you to choose appropriate, local foods and cooking styles for the winter, supporting your kidneys and endocrine system, balancing acid and alkaline and nourishing your deepest vitality.
Nishanga Bliss, MSTCM, L.Ac. is an assistant professor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncturist, herbalist and author of Real Food All Year: Eating Seasonal Whole Foods for Optimal Health and All-Day Energy (New Harbinger, 2012). She is a doctoral student at Hawthorn University. She grows, forages, sprouts, ferments, cooks, studies, teaches about and savors real food in Berkeley, California.
