Physical Observations of Nutrient Deficiencies: Skin, Nails and Tongue: Part 1 with Donna Wild

Did you know that looking closely at the tongue can be a very helpful health assessment tool?  Subtle changes in the color, shape or coating of the tongue can reveal specific dystrophy of tissue, organs or systems in the body. Even cracks, fissures and dimples on the tongue’s surface can disclose subclinical deficiencies and conditions before they become full blown health problems. This webinar focuses on the tongue and will cover:

The physiology of the tongue as a diagnostic instrument;
Specific nutritional deficiencies contributing to abnormalities in the tongue;
Other signs and symptoms of nutrient deficiency;
Food sources and properties of individual nutrients;
Specific nutritional, herbal and dietary recommendations to support underlying dystrophy.

Vibrant Mom Vibrant Baby: 3 Practices to Reduce Risks of Autism, ADHD, Asthma & Allergies

Extensive, cutting edge research is emerging on the impact of food, toxins and stress as epigenetic forces on the health of the developing child, in utero and in early childhood. At the same time, many childhood diseases are on the rise. Epigenetic forces from the environment are thought to play a role in this increase, particularly as they impact the gastrointestinal microbiome of the developing child. Join Dr. Elizabeth Naylor as she presents recent studies that highlight factors capable of negatively impacting microbiota colonization in early life, and contribute to common diseases impacting families today. Discover a holistic health model that incorporates three essential practices for yourself, your baby and your family that support vibrant health.

Hawthorn University Holistic Health and Nutrition Webinar Series presents Vibrant Mom Vibrant Baby: 3 Practices to Reduce Risks of Autism, ADHD, Asthma & Allergies with Dr. Elizabeth Naylor, Tuesday March 15th, 2016 at 4 PM PST / 7 PM EST.

Elizabeth Naylor has been researching, working with clients and speaking on the topic of holistic nutrition and natural health for over 10 years. Coming from a corporate business background and a bent toward conventional medicine, she made a dramatic shift in her 30s to seek more holistic solutions. This experience allows her to connect with individual clients and audiences from many backgrounds on what truly impacts your health. She inspires you to go beyond what you may typically think about as “good” or “bad” foods and focus on the value of all diet and lifestyle practices in supporting your health.
