Help Families End Overeating with Dina Rose, PhD

Dina Rose, PhD has developed a Habits Approach of effective techniques that;
help families focus on food patterns rather than individual nutrients,
improve snacking and
promote feeding strategies that are responsive to children’s hunger and satiety signals.

There may be no more important public health initiative than helping Americans end overeating. Everyone knows the statistics: One third of all American adults suffer from obesity. And according to the CDC, about one in five school-aged children also have obesity.  Unfortunately, while most people know how they —and their children —ought to eat, many of us fail to effectively put this knowledge into practice. Clear doing is much harder than knowing. Join Dina Rose, PhD as she helps us with our clear doing as she presents How Nutrition Professionals Can Help Families End Overeating: The Habits Approach on Tuesday May 2nd, 2017 at 4 PM PST / 7 PM EST.
