"Food and the Pleasure of Eating" with Nishanga Bliss, DSC, LAc

What if health was derived from the pursuit of healthy pleasures and we sought to educate, rather than control our palates? Learn how the enjoyment of our food influences nutrient absorption as Nishanga Bliss shares her insights from investigating relationships of gustatory pleasure and health.  Learn More about “Food and the Pleasure of Eating” with Hawthorn University graduate Nishanga Bliss, DSC, LAc, on the Tuesday night Holistic Health and Nutrition Webinar – Tuesday February 17th, 2015 at 4 PM Pacific / 7 PM Eastern.

Log on early at 3:50 PM Pacific / 6:50 PM Eastern for the pre-webinar announcement segment that will include a brief interview with Nishanga.

Eating is indisputably one of life's consistent joys and enjoyment is a primary reason we eat.  Yet the topic of pleasure is rarely discussed in the nutrition field.  Join Nishanga Bliss, DSC, LAc, in an exploration of the connections between food and pleasure.  You will learn what factors increase the pleasure of eating, what characterizes people's most pleasurable eating experiences, how flavor influences the pleasure response, and the ways in which the pursuit of gustatory pleasure serves, rather than hinders, our health.
