Watch Mood and Neurodegenerative Disorders: Chronic Inflammation and Disturbances in Tryptophan Metabolism with Jeffrey Moss, DDS, CNS, DACBN

Many of us have a friend or loved one that suffers from some sort of neurobehavioral or neurodegenerative illness. It is generally regarded by both the allopathic and alternative medicine communities that neurobehavioral illnesses, such as depression, and neurodegenerative illnesses, such as Alzheimer’s disease, are very different ailments – both symptomatically and metabolically. In fact, a large body of research suggests that neurobehavioral and neurodegenerative illnesses are different points on the exact same catabolic, inflammatory, insulin resistant, metabolically suboptimal spectrum.  In turn, clinical depression is an excellent early indicator of risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease. Please join us as we welcome back Jeffrey Moss, DDS, CNS, DACBN, for Mood and Neurodegenerative Disorders: Chronic Inflammation and Disturbances in Tryptophan Metabolism. Dr. Moss' webinar recording is now available to review in the Hawthorn Webinar Archives.

In this presentation Dr. Moss covers the specifics of tryptophan metabolism disturbance and its relationship with chronic inflammation will be discussed. We will learn simple and cost-effective lifestyle and supplemental interventions to reduce chronic inflammation and optimize tryptophan metabolism, leading to significant improvements in quality of life for clients suffering from neurologic dysfunction.

Dr. Jeffrey Moss, DDS, CNS, DACBN, graduated from the University of Michigan Dental School in 1974 and practiced dentistry in Grand Rapids, Michigan up to 1985.
