Glen Depke is a Traditional Naturopath, with advanced training in Holistic Iridology, the Kalish method, emotional freedom technique, Metabolic Typing, traditional Chinese assessments, and German drainage therapy. Glen has become known as a master in adrenal insufficiency, gluten intolerance, customized nutrition and functional healing.” He has worked alongside some of the most prominent healers of our time, most notably, Dr. Joseph Mercola and the staff at the Center for Natural Health, where he held the positions of chief nutritionist, and wellness director and developed their system of nutritional typing. MHNE 2013 graduate Wendy Turner-Larsen’s training at Hawthorn gave her the confidence and credibility to speak and teach about nutrition and brain health.  Her passion is to help organizations integrate health and wellness into business and leadership training, as personal wellness is foundational to leadership and organizational success. Wendy shares about her multi-disciplinary approach to assist leadership coaching clients and organizations, how and why she became interested in nutrition and more specifically, brain nutrition. She describes her own journey of ill health and how brain nutrition supported her on her way to wellness.

Wendy Turner-Larsen is a graduate of Hawthorn’s Master of Science in Health and Nutrition Education program in 2013. As a psychologist, Wendy had a thriving private practice in Canada, providing a holistic approach to emotional, mental and psychological health to her clients. She then discovered brain nutrition and the impressive results provided for her clients through this method. She now works as a Leadership/Executive Coach and corporate training consultant, utilizing her holistic philosophy including brain health and nutrition to help leaders and organizations become healthier, more robust and thereby more productive and successful. Wendy earned an MA in Counseling/Psychology, an MA in Adult Education (leadership) and an MHNE. She is a registered nutritionist, a certified hypnotherapist, certified through the NNTI program (NeuroNutrient Training Institute) and a certified professional coach with credentialing through ICF (the International Coach Federation).

Tom Fabian, PhD, CNTP, is a functional nutrition practitioner, educator and speaker, and he currently serves as a consultant for Diagnostic Solutions Laboratory. He is a former research scientist with in-depth expertise in the role of the microbiome in health, disease and aging. He has developed online educational programs for practitioners seeking in-depth education in the microbiome and related topics. He also has extensive experience in the areas of aging and healthspan optimization, both through his previous research experience as well as his more recent experience as a functional health practitioner.
